CALL FOR TRANSLATIONS OF THE SOC8**


 

WPATH is inviting interested parties/collectives to submit a bid for translation of the Standards of Care for the Health of Transgender and Gender Diverse People, Version 8 in the following languages:

 

  • Mandarin
  • Bengali
  • Hindi
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • Vietnamese
  • French
  • Turkish
  • Arabic
  

Other Languages - Proposals for Additional Languages are Welcomed.

 

 

WPATH is inviting interested parties/collectives to consist of:

  1.  At least one accredited translator
  2.  Content specialists (in medicine, surgery, mental health)
  3.  Representation from the TGD Community of the country in which the SOC8 is being translated
     (with specific focus on the translation of terminologies in trans health).
     
 

 
Please submit your bid:

  1.  With an expected timeline for completion of the translation; and
  2.  With total costing (in US Dollars $)
  3.  By using the link to the Google Form.
  4.  Deadline: Thursday 15 December 2022 12.00 EST.

** Disclaimer: Please note that WPATH has limited funding. WPATH does not guarantee allocation of the translation of the SOC-8 in the event of there being a single bid.**
