USPATH is excited to announce that registration is now open for the USPATH 2021 Scientific Symposium: Seeking Equity in a Time of Hope and Challenge, being held virtually November 4 - 7, 2021.
All recorded sessions will be available for 30 days with an option to increase to 300 days in your registration, this add-on will allow you to watch as many sessions as you wish, at your own pace, and to receive attendance and accreditation for those sessions.
Conference programming will include:
Accreditation Information: The USPATH conference will be accredited for ACCME, ANCC, APA, ASWB, and AMIC MOC Credits. The exact number of hours is TBD once the schedule is finalized, however the estimated amount of hours is 18 Live/45 Enduring.
The USPATH 2021 Surgeon’s Day Program will take place on November 3, 2021. This program is specifically geared for the Surgeon and Surgical Team Members; this year’s program will be chaired by Dr. Daniel Dugi.

The next Online Advanced Course Series will open in October 2021, with live sessions scheduled in November and December 2021.

This online meeting format, featuring articles from the International Journal of Transgender Health (IJTH), will allow participants the opportunity to delve further into transgender health research topics and ask questions of the authors. This workshop, initiated two years ago, is a much-needed initiative to gather cross-disciplinary experts to discuss the medical, clinical, and sociological challenges faced by transgender people at risk for and living with HIV. Through didactic lectures and sharing of best practices based on real-life experiences, it has become a premier scientific platform to discuss opportunities and challenges in providing healthcare for transgender people at risk of or living with HIV.

The IWK Trans Health Team will be hosting a symposium titled “Integrated Care for Gender Dysphoric, Gender Non-Binary and Transgender Children into Adulthood” on Oct. 21-22 and Oct 25-26.
This four half- day accredited learning event has been approved for 12.5CPD hours. The symposium will teach you how to apply the WPATH standards of care in your practice. A provider need not be a member of, nor a certified provider through WPATH, which is an optional program, in order to be considered able to assess and treat a patient, using the SOC guidelines. No specific training course is required in Canada to use the WPATH SOC.
